How to use Image editor
Add your files
Drop one or more image files onto the upload area, or tap the area to choose them from your device.
Set the options
Choose Opacity and Blend. Every setting is on screen before you add a file, so you can see what the tool will do before it runs.
Run it and save
Press Image. The button stays disabled until there is something to work on, and each file shows its own progress and result. Press Save project. Each finished file keeps a name based on the one you started with, so you can tell the versions apart.
What this tool does
Layers with opacity, blend modes, lock and reorder
Layers can be reordered, locked, hidden, and given their own opacity and blend mode, from normal and multiply through to screen and overlay.
Open, drag or paste images straight in
Open a file, drag one onto the canvas, or paste from the clipboard, all of which land as a new layer.
Text, shapes, brush, eraser, fill and eyedropper
Text, shapes, a brush, an eraser, a fill and an eyedropper cover the everyday edits without leaving the page.
Live adjustments, filters, crop and resize
Brightness, contrast and the rest apply live so you can see the result, and crop and resize work on the whole document.
Export PNG, JPG or WebP, nothing uploaded
Export as PNG, JPG or WebP at canvas size or a preset like Square 1080 or Story 1080x1920. Everything happens in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Are my images uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole editor runs in your browser using the HTML canvas. Images you open, paste or drag in are processed on your device, and nothing is uploaded or stored on a server.
What can I do with it?
Create a canvas or open an image, then work in layers: add more images, text and shapes, move, scale and rotate them, paint and erase, fill and pick colours, and apply live adjustments like brightness, contrast and blur. You can add drop shadows and outlines, rotate or flip the canvas, crop, resize, undo and redo, and export.
How do layers work?
Each image, text or shape is its own layer. You can reorder them, hide or lock them, change opacity and blend mode, duplicate or delete them. Painting goes on its own paint layer so it never damages your photos.
Can I save my work and come back later?
Yes. Save project writes a single file containing all your layers, which you can open again later to keep editing. To get a finished picture, export as PNG, JPG or WebP. Everything stays on your device.
Does it work on a phone?
It works best on a desktop or laptop with a mouse or stylus, since it is a layered editor with lots of panels. On a small screen the panels stack and it is more cramped, so a larger screen is recommended.
