Don's Tools is a growing collection of small, fast and genuinely free web tools.
How it started
This is where it began: Don built Don's Tools because he needed a quick way to resize the images for one of his websites. He could not find a tool that was free, fast, and did not make him upload his files to some stranger's server first, so he built his own. The batch image resizer was the very first tool, and everything else here grew from it.
The idea behind every tool
Every tool follows the same three rules. It should be free, with no sign-up, no paywall and no catch. It should be simple and quick to use. And it should run entirely in your browser, on your own device.
That last part matters most. Almost everything here is done client-side, which means the work happens inside your own browser using your device's power. Your images, videos, documents and text are never uploaded to a server, because there is no server doing the work. They never leave your device, so your files stay private by default. If a job can be done in the browser, it is done in the browser.
Always growing
New tools get added regularly, across images, video, audio, PDFs, text, developer utilities, calculators and a section made for Sri Lanka. If there is something you wish existed here, tell us.
