What this tool does
Pick the size first, then add your photo
Choosing the country and photo size first means the crop box is already the right shape when your photo goes in, rather than something to fix afterwards.
Drag, pinch and scroll to zoom and position
Drag to move the photo, pinch or scroll to zoom, and the face lands where the guide says it should.
Keeps proportions, never stretches the photo
The photo is scaled, never stretched, so a face does not end up subtly the wrong shape and get the application rejected.
US, UK, Schengen, India, custom sizes at 300 DPI
US 2x2 inch, UK and Schengen 35x45 mm, India, Canada, Australia and a custom size, all rendered at 300 DPI for printing.
Single photo or 4x6 print sheet, nothing uploaded
Download a single photo at the exact size, or a 4x6 sheet with several copies laid out for a print shop. Both are made in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Your photo is loaded and cropped entirely in your browser, and the finished image is created on your own device. Nothing is ever uploaded or stored.
How do I position the photo?
First choose the size, then add your photo. Drag the photo to move it, and scroll, pinch or use the zoom slider to resize it. Zooming keeps the photo's proportions, so it is never stretched, and the frame always stays filled.
Which sizes are supported?
Common passport and visa sizes including US 2x2 inch, UK, EU and Schengen 35x45 mm, India, Canada, Australia, China and Sri Lanka (35x45 mm), plus a custom size in millimetres. The pixel size at 300 DPI is shown so you know it is print ready.
Will the photo be stretched or distorted?
No. The photo is always scaled evenly in both directions, so circles stay circular and faces keep their shape. You control the crop by zooming and moving, not by stretching.
Can I print several copies?
Yes. Download a single photo at the exact size, or download a 4x6 inch print sheet that tiles as many copies as fit, which you can print at home or at a photo shop. It does not remove or change the background, so use a plain light backdrop.
