Sign on PDF
Draw your signature in any colour or upload signature images, then place, copy and position them on any page. Add text too. Nothing is uploaded.
Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.
How to use Sign on PDF
Add your file
Drop your PDF or Word file onto the upload area, or tap the area to choose it from your device.
Run it
Press Upload signature. The button stays disabled until there is something to work on, and each file shows its own progress and result.
Save the result
Press Save signed PDF, Don. Each finished file keeps a name based on the one you started with, so you can tell the versions apart.
What this tool does
Draw a signature in any ink colour
Draw your signature with a mouse, a finger or a stylus, in whatever ink colour the document calls for.
Upload multiple signature images
Upload signature images as well, so several people's signatures can be kept ready for the same document.
Copy, paste and place signatures
A placed signature can be copied and dropped again, which is what you need when a contract wants initials on every page.
Add movable text with font, size and colour
Text boxes can be added and moved with a choice of font, size and colour, for dates, names and the fields nobody filled in.
Multi-page navigation and zoom
Move through a multi-page document with previous and next, and zoom in to check a signature sits exactly on the line.
Runs in the browser, no upload
PDFs and Word .docx files are opened, signed and saved by your browser, so a contract is never uploaded anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
Are my PDF and image uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF, your typed text and your image all stay in your browser on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Does my image stay saved for next time?
If you tick "Save to this browser" when you draw it, your most recent image is kept on this device and loaded automatically next time. Only one image is stored at a time, so a new one replaces the old. It is removed if you clear site data or use private mode, and it does not sync to other browsers or devices.
Can I add typed text too?
Yes. Add text boxes, drag them where you want, and set the font, size and colour, like a simple PDF editor. Handy for dates, names and notes.
Can I use a image I already have?
Yes. Upload a PNG or JPG of your image and place it on the page. A PNG with a transparent background looks best.
Will it change the rest of my PDF?
No. Your text and image are drawn on top and the original pages are kept exactly as they were.
