Resize images in bulk

Drop up to 100 images, set the size and quality, then press the button. Nothing is uploaded. This is the tool that started it all: Don built Don's Tools because he needed a quick way to resize the images for one of his websites, and everything else here grew from that.

Batch Image Resizer is a free tool that resizes up to 100 images at once entirely in your browser. Resize by longest side, width, height or percentage, optionally convert to JPEG, PNG or WebP, adjust quality, and download each file or all of them as a ZIP. Your images are never uploaded and stay on your device.

Frequently asked questions

Can it really resize 100 images at once?

Yes, up to 100 per batch. Everything runs on your device, so a big batch depends on your computer's memory and speed. On older phones or low-memory devices, very large or very many images may slow down, so just do them in smaller groups.

Are my images uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens inside your browser, so your files never leave your device and nothing is sent to a server.

Will small images get blurry?

No. Keep "No enlarge" ticked and any image already smaller than your target is left at its original size and never stretched up.

Which formats can I use and save to?

You can drop PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF or BMP. Save as the original format, or convert everything to JPEG, PNG or WebP. The quality slider applies to JPEG and WebP.
