What this tool does

The gap between two dates is given in years, months and days, which is how people actually describe a length of time.

As full years, months and days between the two dates, plus the totals in days and weeks and the number of weekdays.
What counts as a weekday?
Monday to Friday. The weekday total excludes Saturdays and Sundays, which is useful for working-day estimates.
Can I add or subtract days from a date?
Yes. Use the second section to add or subtract any number of days from a date and see the resulting date and weekday.
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. It uses real calendar dates, so leap years and month lengths are handled correctly.
