Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my weighted grade?
Multiply each assignment score by its weight (as a decimal), then sum them all. For example: homework 85% ร 0.20 weight = 17 points; midterm 78% ร 0.30 = 23.4 points; project 90% ร 0.50 = 45 points. Total: 17 + 23.4 + 45 = 85.4%. This calculator does all that automatically.
What grade do I need on my final to pass?

The formula is: Required final score = (Target grade โ Current grade ร (1 โ Final weight)) รท Final weight. If you need over 100%, you cannot mathematically reach your target.
