It supports Code 128 and Code 39 for general text and EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC, ITF-14, MSI, Pharmacode and Codabar for products, lets you adjust the size and value display, and downloads a crisp PNG or a vector SVG.

What this tool does

Code 128, Code 39, EAN, UPC and more

Format covers Code 128 for any text, plus Code 39, EAN-13, EAN-8 and UPC-A for retail, so the code matches what the scanner expects.

Adjustable size and value display

Bar width has thin, medium and thick settings, height is a slider, and Show value turns the printed number under the bars on or off.

Download PNG or vector SVG

PNG suits a label you are printing once. SVG stays sharp at any size, so it is the one to use on packaging or a sign.

Validates retail formats

EAN-13, EAN-8 and UPC-A have fixed lengths and a check digit, and the page tells you when the value you typed will not scan.

Works in your browser, no sign-up

The barcode is drawn by your browser, so the value you encode is never sent anywhere and there is no sign-up.

Frequently asked questions

Is anything uploaded?

No. Barcodes are generated entirely in your browser with nothing uploaded. It works offline after the first load, which fetches a small library once.

Which barcode formats are supported?

Code 128 and Code 39 for general text, EAN-13, EAN-8 and UPC-A for retail products, plus ITF-14, MSI, Pharmacode and Codabar.

Why does my value show as invalid?

Retail formats require an exact number of digits, for example EAN-13 needs 12 to 13 digits and UPC needs 11 to 12. Code 128 accepts any text, so use it when you are not encoding a product code.

Can I download a print-ready file?

Yes. Download a PNG for documents and the web, or an SVG, which is vector and stays crisp at any print size.

Will it scan reliably?

Yes, as long as you keep the surrounding white margin and print it large enough. Avoid stretching or cropping the bars.
