Split names into fair, evenly sized random teams
Split the list into a number of teams or into teams of a given size, and the sizes come out as even as the list allows.
Shuffle the whole list into a random order
Shuffle order returns the whole list in a random sequence, for running order, presentation order or turns.
Option to remove winners so no one is picked twice
Remove winners takes each pick out of the pool, so a raffle with several prizes does not draw the same person twice.

Frequently asked questions
Is anything uploaded or saved online?
No. The whole tool runs in your browser, and any lists you save are stored only on your own device. Nothing is sent anywhere and there is no account.
Is the picking really fair?
Yes. It uses your browser's secure random generator, the same kind used for cryptography, so every name has an equal chance. Teams and shuffles use the same fair method.
How do I enter the names?
Type or paste one name per line. If you put them all on one line separated by commas, those work too. The count updates as you type.
Can I stop the same name being picked twice?
Yes. Tick the option to remove the winner after each pick, and it will be left out until you press Reset to bring everyone back.
Can I save my lists?
Yes. Save any list with a name and load it again later from the dropdown. Your most recent list is also restored automatically when you return.
