How to use Spin the wheel
Add your input
Put your entries into the box on the page.
Set the options
Choose Remove the winner after each spin. Nothing is hidden until you press a button.
Press Spin the wheel, Don →
The result is produced on your own device, using your browser's own random and crypto functions where randomness is involved. Save this list saves it as a file.
What this tool does
Add any options, one per line
Type your options one per line and the wheel is built from them, however many or few there are.
Fair spins using secure randomness
The landing position comes from the browser's secure random source, so every segment really does have an equal chance.
No-repeat mode for draws and giveaways
Remove the winner after each spin takes that option off the wheel, which is what a raffle with several prizes needs.
Save and reload your lists
Save a list and load it again later, so a class, a team or a set of chores does not have to be typed in every time.
Runs in your browser, nothing uploaded
The wheel and the draw both run in your browser, so nothing is uploaded and it works with no connection.
Frequently asked questions
Is the spin really random?
Yes. When you spin, the winning slice is chosen with your browser's secure random generator, so every entry has an equal chance no matter where it sits on the wheel.
Is anything uploaded or saved online?
No. The wheel runs entirely in your browser. Your entries and any saved lists are stored only on your own device and never sent anywhere.
How many entries can I add?
As many as you like, one per line. The slices get thinner as you add more, and long names are shortened on the wheel, but the full name still shows as the winner.
Can it pick without repeats?
Yes. Turn on remove the winner after each spin and each result is taken off the wheel, which is handy for drawing names or deciding an order.
Do my saved lists stay after I close the page?
Yes. Saved lists and your current entries are kept in this browser, so they are still there next time. Clearing your browser data will remove them.
