What this tool does
Random numbers in any range
Set a minimum and a maximum and generate as many numbers as you need, with decimals if you want them.
Dice from d4 to d100
Roll d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20 or d100, several at a time, with the total shown alongside the individual rolls.
Coin flips and a fair list picker
Flip one or more coins, or paste a list of options and have one picked, which covers most of what a random draw is actually for.
Unique results and sorting
Unique stops the same number coming up twice, and Sort puts the results in order, both of which matter for draws and samples.
Secure random source, no sign-up
Numbers come from the browser's cryptographic random source, and nothing is uploaded or kept.
Frequently asked questions
Is it truly random and private?
It uses your browser's cryptographically secure random generator, which is high quality, and everything runs locally with nothing uploaded.
What can it do?
Generate random numbers in a range, roll any number of dice (d4 to d100), flip coins, and pick random items from your own list.
Can I get unique numbers with no repeats?
Yes. Turn on Unique for whole numbers, and the count is automatically capped at the size of the range so every result is different.
Can I make a fair random draw or raffle?
Yes. Use Pick mode, paste your names or entries one per line, choose how many to draw and keep No repeats on for a fair selection.
Is there a limit?
You can generate up to 100,000 numbers at once. Very large amounts simply take a moment to display.
