Frequently asked questions
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. The video is decoded, drawn to a canvas with your watermark and re-encoded in your browser. Nothing leaves your device, which is also why a long video takes as long as your computer needs.
What format do I get back?
An MP4. The watermark is baked into the picture, so it survives sharing, re-uploading and reposting.
Can I use my logo instead of text?
Yes. Add an image watermark from a PNG or JPG, or add text, or both. Each one can be dragged anywhere on the frame with a live preview, and has its own size and opacity.
How long can the video be?
There is no hard limit, but everything is encoded on your device, so length is limited by memory and patience. A minute or two is comfortable on a phone, and longer clips are better done on a desktop.
Does it re-encode and lose quality?
Yes, the video is re-encoded because the watermark has to be drawn into every frame. The output is high bitrate, so the loss is small, but it is not lossless.
