Fancy text generator

Turn your text into bold, italic, script, bubble, upside-down and many other styles, then copy any one with a tap for your bio, username or posts.

Tap Copy on any style:

Fancy Text Generator turns your plain text into eye-catching styles such as bold, italic, script, fraktur, bubble, monospace, upside down and strikethrough. It works by mapping your letters to real Unicode characters, so the result is plain text you can copy and paste into social bios, usernames, captions and messages. The list updates as you type and every style has its own copy button, all in your browser with nothing uploaded.

Files are processed in your browser and never uploaded.

How to use Fancy text generator

  1. Add your text

Type or paste your text into the input box. Everything is handled by your own browser, so nothing is sent to a server.

  2. Read the result

The output updates as you type, so there is nothing to submit and nothing to wait for.

  3. Copy or save it

Copy puts the result on your clipboard.

What this tool does

Bold, italic, script, bubble and more

One box of text is rendered in every style at once, so you can scan them together instead of trying one at a time.

Strikethrough, underline, upside down and spaced text

Strikethrough, underline, upside-down and spaced-out text are all there, which covers most of what a bio or a username needs.

Updates live as you type

The styles update as you type, so you can see how a name looks in each one while you are still deciding on it.

One tap to copy any style

Tap any style to copy it. What you get is Unicode characters, so it pastes into apps that do not allow formatting.

Runs in your browser, nothing uploaded

The text is transformed in your browser, so nothing you type is uploaded and the page works with no connection.

Frequently asked questions

Is anything saved or uploaded?

No. The styles are made in your browser by swapping letters for special Unicode characters. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored.

How does fancy text actually work?

It is not a font. Each style maps your letters to real Unicode characters that look bold, italic, script and so on, so the result is plain text you can paste almost anywhere.

Will it work in my Instagram or TikTok bio?

Usually yes. Because the output is genuine Unicode text, it works in most social bios, usernames, captions and messages. A few apps or older systems may show some styles as plain boxes.

Why do some styles show empty boxes for me?

That means your device does not have a glyph for those particular characters. The text is still correct and will display properly on devices that include those characters.

Can I use numbers and symbols?

Many styles convert numbers too, and a few convert punctuation. Characters a style cannot convert are simply left as they are.
