Is anything uploaded or saved?
No. Every conversion happens instantly in your browser with simple maths. Nothing is sent anywhere and there is no account.
Which colour formats does it convert between?
HEX, RGB, HSL and CMYK, all linked together. Change any one and the others update straight away, and each has a copy button.
Why does a CMYK value look slightly different on screen?
CMYK is built for printing with inks, while screens use RGB light. The tool gives a standard mathematical conversion, but exact printed colour also depends on the printer, paper and profile.
Can I pick a colour visually?
Yes. Use the colour picker on the left to choose a shade by eye, and all four formats fill in automatically. You can also type a value into any field.
Do short hex codes work?
Yes. A three-character hex such as #0AF is expanded automatically, and you can type the hex with or without the leading hash.
